Runescape
Runescape
is a 3d mass multiplayer game, where you interact with thousands upon thousands
of other players. You can create your own character to live and prosper
with. You can customize your character's appearance to look like yourself,
or go at crazy as you want with blue hair. You can fight monsters,
including goblins, skeletons, scorpions, demons, and even chickens!
You go underground to mine precious metals, to smith into weapons
of war to fight with. Use magic to help your fighting, and prayer to show
your devotion to the gods. Go into the northern wilderness to fight other
players in search of quick riches and the loot off their dead bodes. This
is Runescape.
Why should I play Runescape?
Everyone can play Runescape, since it is accessible to nearly
everyone using the Internet for Free.
Using a 56k modem/phone line it takes less than 5 minutes to fully download the
game and start playing! The minimum system
requirements are 64mb ram, which almost every computer has, with plenty to spare.
Works on Windows, Mac and Linux since it is played through your web browser!
Upon signing up for an account, there is a short (and fun!) tutorial to complete which takes you through the basics of the game. After that you will be let loose in the world of Runescape among thousands of players to explore and gain riches. For some basic tips, refer to our Beginner's Guide, and if you already know how to play Runescape, but aren't sure how to Get Started, consult that guide.
Our free servers give you unlimited play! There is no limit to how long you can keep using the free version for, and there's hours and hours of things to do (if not years). Once you have gotten past those first few days, Runescape will become the best game your have ever played!
